اسمي دينا نهاد عورتاني من مدرسة آمنة بنت وهب المستقلة الثانوية للبنات في قطر. خدمت في مؤسسة السفراء العرب كسفيرة لنملذج للأمم المتحدة باللغة العربية.
لقد اكتسبت العديد من الخصائص و الصفات القيادية خلال فترة السفراء العرب و لعل من أهمها هو إتقان التحدث بطلاقة باللغة العربية الفصحي و تقديمها امام جمهور كبير.
من خلال حضور اجتماعات ولقائات مع السفراء العرب و مناظرات على شبكات التواصل الحديثة، قد تعرفت على الأنواع المختلفة لنماذج الامم المتحدة في العالم التي لم اعلم عن وجودها من قبل، تعلمت مهارة المناظرة باللغة العربية بما انها مهارة لم أتقنها و لم أمارسها باللغة العربية من قبل كانت تجربة جديدة عندما أقيمت مناظرة على الانترنت مع العديد من السفراء بأسلوب جديد ايضاً.
و من ابرز ما تعلمت هو كيفية التحضير و تقديم ورشة باللغة العربية الفصحى مع ارشاد السيدة الفاضلة نبيلة العصار.
My name is Dina Nihad Awartani from Amna Bint wahab independent secondary girls school in Qatar. I served as Head Arabic MUN ambassadors of ABW. I've gained multiple leadership characteristics and helpful skills during my period in Arab ambassadors.
This program has helped significantly improve my arabic speaking skills and being confident enough to publicly speak it, amongst many other traits.
In attending meetings and online debates and many more sessions with Arab ambassadors I've come to learn a general idea of the multiple types of MUN in the world which I didn't know about, I've also learned how to debate in Arabic after debating online in Arabic with the Arab ambassadors team for the first time. Learning how to give a workshop in Arabic under the guidance of Miss Nabila Elassar herself.
I've learned a lot and improved a lot during my time in the Arab ambassadors program as I began giving workshops around my school to individuals interested in MUN helping them get a general idea of the THIMUN procedures as they were the ones followed in Qatar. Giving a workshop in The Qatar Leadership Conference 2015 titled 'MUN simulation' in Arabic. I've had multiple other successful experiences in MUN along the way that I couldn't have achieved without the Arab ambassadors program but the one I am mostly proud of is becoming Deputy president of SRCMENA-Arabic at the 2016 THIMUN conference, the biggest MUN conference in the history of Qatar, it was an honor to represent my language and my passion for MUN in such a conference.
