قصة نجاح في قطر - سفيرتنا، سلمي خالد Success Story in Qatar! Our Arabic MUN Ambassador, Salma Khaled
اسمي سلمى حسن، وأنا طالبة افي مدرسة مسيعيد الدولية في قطر. لقد تشرفت ان اكون سفيرة من السفراء العرب للعام الماضي. فقد حضرت ٧ مؤتمرات لنموذج الامم المتحدة و كنت عضوة وفد في اول مؤتمر دولي يقام بالغة العربية ثم كنت رئيسة لجنتين باللغة العربية.
ساعدتني مشاركتي في السفراء العرب ان اطور لغتي العربية بالاضافة الى مهاراتي الاجتماعية التي ساعدتني في تهييء اعضاء وفد و تدريبهم. بدأت بحضور اجتماعات السفراء العرب منذ بدايتها و تعلمت العمل بروح الفريق الواحد و طرق مبتكرة و ممتعة لنشر وادارة ورش عمل لنموزج الامم المتحدة بالغة العربية.
بعد التدريب كسفيرة عربية قدمت ورشة عمل مع زميلتي دينا عن كيفية النقاش بالغة العربية في ثايمن. و تكرمنا على المسرح في مؤتمر قطر للقادة. ثم تم ترقيتي الي نائبة الامين العام في مؤتمر مدرستي (ميسمون و كنت رئيسة لجنة اللغة العربية في هذا المؤتمر. و لكن انجازي الاكبر هو رئاسة ثاني لجنة دولية تقام بالغة العربية في مؤتمر نموزج الامم المتحدة لاهاي الدولي في قطر. و قمت بقيادة ٣٠ عضو وفد و الحمد للع، نجح نجاحا هائلا.
My name is Salma Hassan, I go to Mesaieed International School. I was honored to be an Arab Ambassadors Arabic MUN team member for the past year. I attended 7 MUN conferences in total, one was as a delegate of the first ever international arabic committee, and later became president of two Arabic MUN commitees in Qatar.
Arab Ambassadors helped me develop my Arabic skills and taught me Arabic MUN, as well as developed my social skills which helped me recruit and train delegates for Arabic MUN. I started attending Arab Ambassador meetings since the very beginning and it taught me team work as well as fun and innovative ways to teach Arabic MUN.
After training as an Arab Ambassador, I ran a workshop titled 'THIMUN Stimulation' along with fellow ambassador, Dina Awartani we taught delegates how to debate in arabic, we were awarded on stage for our achievement. I was then promoted to deputy secretary general of my school's conference (MISMUN) where I also acted as president of the Arabic committee. However my biggest accomplishment is becoming President of the second ever international arabic commitee held at The Hague International Model United Nations in Qatar 2016, where I lead 30 delegates debating compeletly in Modern Standard Arabic and it was an outstanding success!
