Model United Nations Conference (UA-MUNC)

The United Ambassadors MUN Conference in Geneva (UA-MUNC) is a UN4MUN conference that offers the most accurate simulation of the United Nations and its decision-making process. The conference will take place from May 12th to the 15th, 2017 at the United Nations Office in Geneva and The Movenpick, a 5-star hotel centrally located in the vibrant city of Geneva.
Amidst accurate simulations of the United Nations Security Council and General Assembly, delegates will have the opportunity to discuss current issues listed on the UN Agenda and gain a practical understanding of the workings and decision-making process of the real United Nations. This MUN Conference is the flagship UN4MUN Simulation organized by United Ambassadors.
Eligibility:
The conference welcomes high school and university students/ graduates aged 14-28.
*University delegations may be led by a head delegate or faculty adviser.
*High school delegations must be accompanied by at least one adult chaperone/ faculty adviser who registers to attend as an observer.
*MUN conference organizers, teachers, MUN advisors or university graduates are more than welcome to attend the conference as observers.

Accommodation:
Delegates are encouraged to stay at the Movenpick Hotel in Geneva, where the committee sessions will be taking place.
*Discounted accommodation packages are offered as part of registration, exclusively to
UA-MUNC delegates.
The Movenpick is 5-star hotel ideally located in the heart of the city of Geneva.
Accommodation packages are available for single, double, triple or quadruple occupancy, and range from as little as 250 CHF for all 5 nights per person.

Both high school and university level committees/ councils will be available.
Issues debated at UA-MUNC Geneva 2017 will be extracted directly from the real General Assembly/ Security Council Agendas for the years 2016 & 2017.
Pricing & Registration:
*Early Registration period ends January 30th, 2017.
*Regular Registration period ends April 1st, 2017.
*Registration fee per participant is $240 regular registration and $195 early registration.
*Registered delegates receive:
- UN4MUN Training
- Conference and committee session active participation for 4 full days.
- Conference booklet/ packet.
- Certificate of Recognition from United Ambassadors.
* Add-on of $100 available to include UNOG guided tour, lunch during committee sessions, Geneva tour and final day evening social gala.
