Model United Nations Conference (UA-MUNC)

Committees, Councils, and Topics: UA-MUNC is a pioneering educational conference offering the world's most accurate, cutting-edge, advanced and fun simulation of the United Nations. Throughout this dynamic simulation of the real UN, delegates will have an unparalleled opportunity to engage in a Model UN setting that accurately mirrors how UN meetings are conducted, all while discussing critical topics that are currently a priority on the real United Nations agenda. The conference will host committees including the General Assembly Committees, the Security Council, the Human Rights Council, the Economic and Social Council's High-Level Political Forum, the Commission on the Status of Women, and a real-life youth-led #MUN_Action Committee on youth advancement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

A Decade of Action: Global Conversations the Role of Technology, Youth, and Multilateralism in Advancing the Sustainable Development Goals. Sub-themes: Poverty, Gender Equality, Climate Action, and Human Rights.

University Level (Ages 17+)

Topic: Impact of civilian acquisition, possession, and use of firearms on human rights from a civil, political, economic, social and cultural perspective. (42nd regular session of the Human Rights Council here).

















The High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Global Development  (Economic and Social Council):

Middle School Level (Ages 11+)

Topic: Accelerated action and transformative pathways towards the complete eradication of extreme poverty by 2030. SDGs in focus: 

#1: Eradicate Poverty.  #2: End Hunger. #3: Health & well-being. #17: Partnerships for the goals.













Security Council A

High Schol Level (Ages 13+)

Topic: Women, youth, peace, and security. Immediate measures to protect women and children against violence, trafficking, or exploitation in conflict-affected zones. Derived from SC report, 2019 here.
















MUN ACTION: The Voice of YOUth!

Topic: The role of youth leaders worldwide in advancing SDG 13: Climate Action - Urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.

Topic: Global cooperation & leveraging technology to promote social integration, inclusion and equal opportunity rights of migrants, refugees, ethnic minorities, and persons with disabilities. 















The Commission on the Status of Women (Economic and Social Council):

High-School Level (Ages 13+)

Topic: Advancing women’s economic empowerment in a rapidly evolving professional landscape. The role of media & technology in promoting gender equality. Comprehensive review of the implementation of the Beijing Declaration.

















Security Council B

High School Level (Ages 13+)

Topic: Multilateralism amidst increasingly advancing technologies: Effective measures to address cybersecurity, privacy laws, and data breach and a rise in cybercrime as a threat to international peace and security.















University Level (Ages 17+)

Contentious Case Topic: Application of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination. Parties to the Conflict: Myanmar vs. China.
